In the 1920’s Andrew Crean toured the US with his family in a “motorhome” built on a model T chassis. This trip must of made quite an impression on John Crean, his son, for in 1950 he founded Fleetwood Enterprise, one of the largest RV manufacturers in the nation. John Crean would travel across the nation year after year in his prototype trailers and motorhomes visiting his manufacturing facilities to check there performance with little Johnnie at his side absorbing all that he could about the RV business. In 1973, with a little help from his father, Johnnie Crean founded Alfa Leisure (A Loving Family Affair). The company started with small trailers and over the years progressed to building a “full timers” unit. Every Alfa is designed and built to be more livable, more functional, have greater capacities, have the finest components and appliances, and have the best value. This is achieved with the life long experience of using and building RV’s by Johnnie Crean, the 3rd generation of Crean in the RV business, and founder of Alfa.
