Our 30 Year milestone with RVDA

They say “time flies when you’re having fun”, well we’ve had a lot of fun being an active participant at the National RV Dealers Association (RVDA)  for the last 30 years!
RVDA “is the only national association dedicated to advancing the RV retailer’s best interests through education, member services, industry leadership, and market expansion programs that promote the increased sale and use of RVs and that enhance the positive image of the RV experience.”

Each year exhibitors from across the country gather at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to share the latest and greatest in RV education and news. It also gives RV dealers the chance to get together to help each other and learn about ways to improve our business.

 
There are many different activities and seminars for dealers to take part in so that we all make sure we’re up to date on the software we use, the gadgets our RV Country  friends love to have, and networking with industry experts. This year we even attended  a new series of fixed operations workshops for service and parts managers.

And here’s a gadget we know all our RV Country friends will love…Rand McNally has come out with a new GPS for you! Everyone loved the old one, and the new one won’t disappoint. The TripMaker 7710 Features traffic predictions and Woodall’s reviewed campgrounds on a 7-inch high definition screen. The routing includes legal weight and height restrictions designed for the type of RV you are using. You can even track your progress from the main road to your campsite so you can easily return.

All in all, it was a great experience again this year and we even received a certificate for being a faithful member and attending RVDA for 30 years in a row.  An accomplishment we’re proud of because we know that with every year we go, we learn something new that helps improve your RVing experience.
